Baby Session – Andrew
Sweet Andrew! This four month old heartbreaker is his parents’ pride and joy – as well he should be.
He’s at a great age for pictures, as he still has this very “new baby” look, but also has good head/neck control and completely infectious smiles.
At this age he’s becoming more and more aware of his surroundings, so it is very nice to be able to shoot in his house. It’s especially handy when a little guy (or girl) needs to take a break. Plus you can get cute shots of him in his crib like this one!
Thanks for having me over – and giving me a chance to ponder what it’s like to have a boy!
Welcome to the blog for Jayme Orn Photography!
Since I’ve been shooting a lot lately, I’m going to start out by posting from sessions about a month ago, until I catch up. Mixed in will be glimpses of my own little world. With two kids age two and under it’s a messy place to be, but at least it’s rarely boring.
Beech Creek Butterfly House
My girls and I recently visited the Beech Creek Botanical Gardens and Nature Preserve in Alliance, Ohio, along with some good friends. We had a great time, especially at the Butterfly House.
It closed for the season on September 13th, but will open again next spring.
We found out about this FREE venue from an awesome site, What2DoStark.com, that provides information on free, fun activities for families here in Stark county.
Couple Shoot – Jason and Jessica
This couple recently celebrated their third wedding anniversary, and are a joy to be around. Jessie is an Air Force Lieutenant based in Wyoming, so we were thrilled to get some pictures of them while she was on leave.
They’re planning on starting a family at some point, and I like to think that some day their kids will really enjoy these shots. I often wondered what my parents were like in the years between their wedding and my arrival. Their kids will enjoy seeing that Jason and Jessie were young, fun, and in love.
Newborn Session – Joey
Welcome to the world, baby Joey!
This family is the very definition of laid back, so I wasn’t surprised when they allowed me to put their 12 day old baby in their 2 year old’s doll cradle.
I was also touched at how the brand new big sister was completely in love with her baby brother.
This is one of my favorite shots – people tend to be self-conscious when they look at the camera, but nothing is as disarming as the sight of new baby.
Senior Session – Stefan
I had a blast working with Stefan. He just started 12th grade at a western Pennsylvania high school, and is such a good big brother that he had to take a quick break during our session to give his younger sister directions when she called his cell phone.
He actually re-built this ’75 Nova himself, so I was excited to work it into his session. Since I’m lucky I know how to put gas in my car, I was beyond impressed.
Have a great senior year, Stefan!
